Mission
JOB PURPOSE:
The Operational Railway Safety Supervisor is in charge of implementing and supervising the Railway Safety level one and conducting Railway Safety studies for the LRT.
Profile
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
• Implement and supervise the Railway Safety level 1 of the LRT.
• Write the procedures and the training of the Safety Railway for the Operations.
• Take in charge the training of the staff of the Operations concerning the Railway Safety of the LRT.
• Participate to the Safety Railway procedures of level 2 with RQHSE.
• Take part in studies initiated by the Operations Engineering.
• Improve and optimize instructions and procedures.
• Implement and supervise the Railway Safety Internal Control.
Documentation
• Produce documentation of the Operations and the Customer Services.
• Ensure the availability of complete documentation.
• Initiate changes to the documentation periodically.
• Update the documentation when new equipment having a direct impact on Operations (everything that is in contact with passengers and LRT agents or used daily by agents in their job).
• Ensure that the documentation is kept updated.
• Inform the staff about any modification or evolution of the documentation.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in any related discipline.
KNOWLEDGE:
• English language.
• Defining MEDIUM- AND LONG-TERM strategies for Operation of the lines.
• Drafting operation rules & procedures.
• Drafting training documentation.
• Management skills.
• Communication skills (Oral and Written).
EXPERIENCE:
• 5+ years of experience, preferably in railway industry.

• Extensive knowledge of start-up operations.
