Mission

JOB PURPOSE:

To overview all Maintenance Activities related to the Job Description.

Lead the Maintenance Team for the Escalators / Elevators on the Buildings and Facilities in Cairo Metro Line 3.

Profile

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• Oversees and coordinates the organization, staffing and operational activities on an assigned shift responsible for the maintenance and repair of elevators and escalators.

• Participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and priorities; recommends and implements resulting policies and procedures.

• Identifies opportunities for improving service delivery methods and procedures; identifies resource needs; reviews with appropriate management staff; implements improvements.

• Plans daily, weekly and long-term work schedules and projects; directs, coordinates and reviews the work plan for assigned elevator and escalator maintenance and repair services on an assigned shift.

• Assigns work activities and projects; monitors workflow; reviews and evaluates work products, methods and procedures; meets with staff to identify and resolve problems.

• Conducts on-the-job technical and safety training for assigned maintenance employees; researches and resolves staffing issues and concerns.

• Selects, trains, motivates and evaluates assigned personnel; provides or coordinates staff training; works with employees to correct deficiencies; implements discipline and termination procedures.

• Attends and participates in professional group meetings; stays abreast of new trends and innovations in the field of elevator and escalator maintenance and repair.

• To ensure all environmental and safety rules are respected and alert Executive Maintenance of any environmental and safety issue.

• To undertake any other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree (Civil Engineering).

KNOWLEDGE:

• General technical knowledge.

• Operational characteristics, services and activities of a comprehensive elevator and escalator maintenance and repair program.

• Current and complex principles and practices of safety as they pertain to elevator and escalator repair and maintenance.

• Methods and techniques of implementing preventive maintenance progress of elevators and escalators.

• Team Management.

• Railway knowledge (Optional).

• EAM such Maximo.

EXPERIENCE:

• Spent at minimum 5 years in the maintenance environment and project.

• Have an experience in the change management culture.

• Have an experience in the improvement methods and quality.
