JOB PURPOSE:
The Electronic Maintenance Technician is responsible for assembling, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic components and systems to ensure optimal performance. The role requires collaboration with engineers, compliance with safety regulations, and proactive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve system reliability.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
•Assemble, install, repair, and maintain electronic components, circuit boards, and systems, ensuring optimal functionality through regular inspections, maintenance, and upgrades.
•Test and evaluate the functionality of electronic components, utilizing performance analysis and diagnostic tools to ensure operational efficiency.
•Interpret and apply technical drawings, manuals, data sheets, and schematics for accurate execution of maintenance and installation tasks.
•Document testing procedures, identify potential issues, and maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and part specifications.
•Conduct routine inspections and service checks to identify defects, recommend replacements, and ensure electronic systems operate efficiently.
•Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to troubleshoot complex issues, enhance repair processes, and improve diagnostics.
•Perform precise cable and wiring connections using appropriate tools and techniques.
•Manage complex repair projects, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed of progress and completion timelines.
•Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations while handling electronic components and using manual and power tools.
•Provide training and guidance on safe equipment use, handling, and maintenance.
•Order or fabricate replacement components as needed to maintain system integrity.
•Communicate effectively with operators, engineers, and inspectors to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless operations.
