Mission

JOB PURPOSE:-

The role is responsible for maintaining the Centralized Control system to ensure optimal operational efficiency and uphold standards of product quality and service. This involves planning and supervising in-house maintenance activities according to RDMC standards, ensuring the safety and reliability of all assigned assets and systems. Additionally, the position involves managing a team of maintainers and technicians, overseeing their activities, and providing support to achieve departmental goals. Adherence to safety protocols within the team is also a critical responsibility of this role.


Profile

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:-

Coordinate the work of the team, including prioritizing tasks, optimizing resource allocation, providing training, managing conflicts, and fostering team motivation.

Inform and communicate effectively with the team, maintaining relationships, relaying information, ensuring clarity on decisions and solutions.

Support and cultivate a trusting environment within the team, addressing inquiries, informing the line manager, and promoting knowledge sharing.

Monitor and oversee activities, analyzing results, and initiating corrective actions where necessary.

Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

Coordinate on-site technical activities, including managing work permits and access.

Investigate failures, ensuring implementation of recommendations.

Maintain and recommend upgrades for Centralized Control subsystems.

Ensure the reliability and security of the information system.

Conduct thorough investigations in cases of reported or unreported damage.

Maintain documentation, manage stocks, and take necessary corrective or preventive actions.

Monitor and analyze Centralized Control system components and operating conditions.

Complete any additional duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:-

QUALIFICATIONS:-

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, and Communication Engineering.

KNOWLEDGE:-

Maintenance of low current systems.

Proficiency in electricity, communications, and electronics.

Familiarity with troubleshooting methods.

Experience in team management.

Knowledge of safety management practices.

EXPERIENCE:-

0-3 years of relevant experience in Automation, Centralized Control, ATS & SCADA maintenance. preferably in the Railway industry.
