JOB PURPOSE:
Manage all technical/ Engineering scope for Track & 3rd rail in Maintenance.
Profile
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:-
The Track & 3rd rail Lead Engineer will have accountability and responsibility for:
• Ensure railway safety requirements are met within his/her scope.
• Reviews and amends maintenance documentation packages.
• Reviews and updates maintenance intervals, derogations, repair authorizations, change orders, and trials.
• Works within document management processes and document management tools.
• Follows quality management processes.
• Ensures maintenance documentation is followed.
• Validates significant changes to maintenance procedures & instructions and Maintenance plan.
• Defining quantities of consumables and spares for system-related items.
• Defines times required for performing maintenance interventions.
• Monitors asset reliability and availability.
• Provide expertise to the production team when needed.
• Assist with daily reports explaining failures impacting service.
• Assist in investigations.
• Provide advice regarding future requirements.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and requirements.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:-
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
KNOWLEDGE:
• General technical knowledge.
• Maintenance management.
• Technical documentation.
• Change management.
• Documents management system.
• EAM such IBM Maximo is a plus.
EXPERIENCE:
• From 5 to 7 years’ relevant experience in Track (Engineering and/or Maintenance).
• Have an experience in the change management culture.
