Mission

JOB PURPOSE: 

Ensuring an accurate and adequate quantity of spare parts available in the warehouses with strong control on warehouse assets.

Profile

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES 

Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy. 

Ensure the integrity of stock levels data is always maintained in the CMMS.

Monitor and manage maximum and minimum stock levels to ensure sufficient inventory is available to meet maintenance demands, using the CMMS to track material status continuously.

Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories.

Manage cycle counts of items inventories on a regular basis.

Track and monitor the delivery schedule of maintenance work orders.

Oversee and participate in the receiving (goods-in) and distribution (goods-out) processes, ensuring all actions are performed promptly and accurately.

Check date-sensitive items for expiration and facilitate removal or transfer of items as needed FIFO (First In, First Out) principle.

Train other employees in inventory management.

Establish trusted relationships with the maintenance team to ensure quality service effective.

Participate in weekly Safety Walks, and report any accidents, hazards, or dangerous/unsafe behavior to the line manager.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school Diploma or bachelor’s degree from a reputable university

• Materials handling training and appropriate Health & Safety training.

KNOWLEDGE:

• English - Intermediate in speaking, reading

• Inventory and stock management expert

• A working knowledge of CMMS.

• Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment

• Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management

• IT Skills

• Microsoft Office.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in warehouse & inventory management
