JOB PURPOSE: 

The Graphic Designer is a high-impact role responsible for translating communication briefs into compelling visual solutions across both physical and digital landscapes. This position bridges the gap between traditional brand identity and modern social media storytelling, ensuring a seamless visual experience from station information to viral digital content.

Profile

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES 

Visual Design & Branding

Execute all necessary visual communication materials, including impactful designs for promotional displays, packaging, and corporate brochures.

Develop and produce professional layouts for advertisements across magazines, newspapers, and corporate reports, ensuring technical alignment with journal requirements.

Translate communication briefs into consistent branding solutions, from initial concept to final execution, for station passenger information and website updates.

Research and develop graphic materials that align strictly with organizational goals and current transportation industry visual standards.

Multimedia & Social Content Production

Create and animate engaging motion graphics content using After Effects and Premiere to elevate the brand’s digital presence.

Plan and shoot short-form videos (Reels/TikToks) using mobile devices or cameras, incorporating a strong sense of storytelling.

Operate essential production hardware, including gimbals, tripods, teleprompters, and basic lighting setups (Ring lights/Softboxes).

Edit high-quality video content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms to ensure alignment with current digital trends.

Collaboration & Operational Management

Lead creative brainstorming sessions to develop initial design concepts and mock-ups for significant marketing growth initiatives.

Partner closely with the Senior Graphic Designer to execute creative ideas and maintain the company website in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Oversee and negotiate with external designers and vendors when additional creative support or specialized production is required.

Distribute and manage the organization’s digital asset library, providing graphics and imagery to internal and external stakeholders as requested.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.

Excellent writing and editing skills in both Arabic and English.

KNOWLEDGE: 

Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro).

Strong understanding of printing techniques (offset/digital) and proficiency in both PC and Mac environments.

Practical knowledge of photography, video shooting, and the setup of basic lighting and stabilization equipment.

Basic understanding of web/internet design and production workflows.

EXPERIENCE: 

1-3 years of experience in a similar graphic design or multimedia role.
