Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this internship is to support the structured implementation of the 5S methodology within the main warehouse. The intern will work closely with the warehouse team to enhance operational efficiency, improve workplace organization, and contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and standardized working environment aligned with Lean principles.

Topic Description and Objectives:
Implementation of the 5S Methodology in the main Warehouse with the support of the team:

Sort (Seiri):

Conduct a detailed assessment of warehouse inventory and storage areas to identify and eliminate unnecessary items, ensuring optimal space utilization.

Set in Order (Seiton):

Assist in designing and implementing an organized layout for tools, materials, and inventory, ensuring clear identification and accessibility.

Shine (Seiso):

Support the development and execution of regular cleaning and inspection schedules to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.

Standardize (Seiketsu):

Contribute to the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), visual management tools, and labeling systems to sustain improvements.

Sustain (Shitsuke):

Promote adherence to 5S practices by supporting training initiatives and encouraging a culture of discipline and continuous improvement among team members.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
