Mission

JOB PURPOSE: 

The role will play a key role in configuring, optimizing, and maintaining the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring seamless integration with organizational processes. This position focuses on maintaining the accuracy and integrity of asset data, improving system functionality, and driving continuous improvements in maintenance workflows. The role will also support end-user training, system upgrades, and process enhancements, staying at the forefront of industry trends and best practices to foster an innovative, efficient maintenance environment.


Profile

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES 

CMMS System Management:

Administer and configure the CMMS software, ensuring its full functionality and alignment with company needs.

Regularly update and maintain the CMMS database, ensuring accuracy of assets, work orders, and maintenance records.

Implement system upgrades and enhancements to improve functionality and user experience

Asset Management:

Develop, maintain, and optimize asset hierarchies, structures, and configurations within the CMMS to meet organizational goals and industry standards.

Oversee asset lifecycle management, including acquisition, maintenance, and decommissioning, to maximize operational efficiency and return on investment.

Ensure the integrity and accuracy of asset data entry, validation, and standardization within the CMMS.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

Analyze CMMS data to track key performance indicators (KPIs), maintenance trends, and identify areas for process improvement.

Generate and present detailed reports on equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and costs to support decision-making.

Assist in the preparation of maintenance budgets and cost analysis.

User Support and Training:

Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting system issues to ensure smooth operation.

Conduct training sessions for maintenance teams to enhance the effective use of the CMMS, improving productivity and reporting accuracy.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities to streamline maintenance processes through automation and system optimization.

Stay current with industry trends and advancements in CMMS technology and maintenance practices.

Lead and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving asset reliability and minimizing downtime.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with IBM Maximo (preferred) or other CMMS platforms like SAP or COSWIN 8i, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.

Understanding of asset lifecycle management and the ability to configure and optimize asset data and hierarchies within CMMS systems.

Proficiency in analyzing CMMS data and using tools like Microsoft Excel to generate reports, identify KPIs, and drive process improvements.

Understanding of CMMS process automation and optimization techniques to improve efficiency and system performance.

Basic knowledge of project management principles for managing tasks and prioritizing maintenance operations effectively.

Ability to provide IT support, troubleshoot user issues, and manage system integrations in CMMS software.

Knowledge of documentation management practices and adherence to industry regulations and internal standards.

Experience:

0 to 3 years of experience in technical (maintenance or engineering) roles, with exposure to CMMS software.

Hands-on experience with CMMS platforms, particularly IBM Maximo, or other platforms such as SAP, COSWIN 8i, or similar.

Strong understanding of maintenance management processes and asset lifecycle management.
