Mission

JOB PURPOSE: 

Assist in supervising and monitoring maintenance activities to ensure asset availability and compliance with approved standardized maintenance regulations and SOPs. Support the Maintenance Monitoring Engineer and Manager in tracking and reporting maintenance performance.

Profile

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES 

Maintenance Planning & Implementation

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of maintenance plans and procedures.

Support the monitoring of daily maintenance activities in the field for assigned subsystems.

Track the condition of assets within assigned subsystems and assist in assessments.

Ensure timely and effective maintenance actions to improve asset life and availability.

Support and participate in testing and commissioning activities for new phases, ensuring systems meet operational requirements.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Help with the calculation and reporting of maintenance KPIs.

• Assist in preparing monthly maintenance performance reports.

Track project progress and follow up on snag lists or outstanding maintenance tasks.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and asset conditions.

Analysis & Compliance

Support failure mode analysis by documenting issues and performance failures.

• Assist in auditing subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with procedures and standards.

• Assist in implementing corrective actions resulting from audits, incidents, or equipment failures.

Coordination & Support

• Collaborate with the Manager to enhance system availability and operational safety.

• Perform any additional tasks as assigned by direct managers.

• Promote a positive safety culture within the workplace and attend any safety-related meetings or briefings as required within the job role.

• Comply with the requirements of RDMC RQHSE Policy and Safety Management System.

• Be mindful that Safety, Security, and Environmental protection are everyone's responsibility.

All staff members are accountable for reporting and intervening in any Safety, Security, or Environmental violations.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATIONS:

BSc. Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Communication, etc.).

KNOWLEDGE:

General technical knowledge.

Basic MMS knowledge is a plus.

Basic understanding of asset management.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and presentation skills.

• Familiarity with maintenance KPIs and analysis methods.

EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years of experience in maintenance engineering or a related field.

• Preferably familiar with maintenance monitoring or similar roles.
