Mission

The AI Engagement expert is accountable for driving Artificial Intelligence across the Railway business, liaising with top management, IT and the Digital team to drive competitive advantage internally, and show value externally to our clients and our groups/he is expected to educate the business teams, drive safe adoption of AI across the company; this should happen by developing strategy and building a community across the organization, whilst aligning and leveraging existing external know-how. A key success factor will be to leverage his/ her existing networks, skills and experiences and have an external focus. S/he will therefore be a born networker, capable of communicating at all levels of the company, and to external organizations, clients and vendors.

Profile

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

· Understand the business needs and define short and long-term scope of the AI activities.

· Getting managers on board with AI is a crucial step in enabling them to fully grasp the implications and benefits of this technology in their work.

· Work closely with the global and regional teams to be on the edge of innovation and global development.

· Take ownership for the identification and evaluation of emerging AI technologies and trends that can enhance the company’s internal efficiency and external services offerings.

· Communicate safe AI adoption to the wider business community, including the benefits and risks, and help drive AI upskilling across the business through regular communications, learning sessions and skills development.

· Develop and communicate an AI framework and process that offers colleagues the required information to safely use AI within their departments and job-scope.

· Implement POCs (proof of concepts) that deliver demonstrable business benefit via the adoption and application of agreed AI tools. Then scale-up the POCs across the business whenever relevant, to drive larger value.

· Other duties, assignments and responsibilities might be assigned.

· Monitor and report on AI initiatives performance and encourage AI-driven decisions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

· Co-manage budgets with the business stakeholders, ensuring resources are allocated optimally to support AI priorities.

· Ensure compliance with local regulations, RATP group, global and local policies.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

· AI / Innovation consulting and implementation expertise, 7+ years.

· Ability to write and express ideas clearly in English, French is preferred.

· Transformation leader, thrive on change and engender a collaborative approach.

· Proven decision making through impact analysis, critical thinking, and structured problem resolution.

· Proven and demonstrable In-depth knowledge of AI and new technologies and innovation frameworks that deliver tangible business value rapidly and in an agile manner.

· Experience in managing vendors and key implementation partners in the delivery of AI solutions.

· Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business strategy into potential solutions and services that drive improved client delivery and revenue enhancement opportunities.
