Mission

JOB PURPOSE: 

Support the monitoring of maintenance activities by supervising subcontractors, ensuring compliance with maintenance procedures and safety standards, and assisting in reporting maintenance activities and asset conditions

Profile

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES 

Supervise subcontractors performing maintenance activities to ensure compliance with maintenance procedures and safety standards.

Monitor and track subcontractor performance, ensuring they meet the required quality and safety standards during maintenance tasks.

Record and report maintenance activities, ensuring accurate and timely data record.

Ensure maintenance tasks are completed according to the scheduled maintenance plan, coordinating with subcontractors to meet timelines.

Inspect completed maintenance work to verify that it meets the specified requirements and quality standards.

Assist in the monitoring of asset conditions by collecting data from the field and reporting findings to the Maintenance Monitoring Engineer.

Track maintenance-related KPIs for subcontracted activities and report on any performance deviations.

Support failure analysis activities, by observing and documenting failures or performance issues during subcontracted maintenance tasks.

Ensure the proper application of maintenance procedures by subcontractors, following up on any discrepancies or issues that arise.

Monitor the implementation of corrective actions resulting from audits, incidents, or equipment failures in coordination with Maintenance Monitoring Engineer

Assist in auditing subcontractors’ performance, including tracking work quality, compliance with safety standards, and adherence to schedules.

Ensure proper communication between subcontractors, engineers, and maintenance managers, escalating issues as necessary.

Track project progress and follow up on snag lists or any outstanding maintenance tasks.

Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the direct managers

Support and actively participate in attendance testing and commissioning activities for new phases, ensuring all systems and components meet operational specifications and requirements.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATIONS:

Technical diploma or equivalent from technical institutes or secondary education, in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field.

KNOWLEDGE:

Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety standards.

Strong understanding of maintenance record-keeping.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance or technical support roles.
