Mission

• Develop, implement and manage the IT/OT strategy and budget and ensure the strategy supports the company’s business objectives including ongoing development in response to the fast-changing business environment.

• Develop and implement IT/OT-related plans and procedures.

• Provide technical direction to OT delivery teams.

• Ensure that robust contingency, risk management, and business continuity plans are in place for Cairo Line 3 IT services and that these are coordinated with the general business continuity plans.

• Maintain and enforce standards and protocols for the use of information and communication technologies.

• Manage the IT team and develop its skillset in line with the professional development requirements for IT, including business analysis, program, and project management.

• Lead on the implementation of the IT/OT strategy, specifically the IT infrastructure and corporate IT program portfolio, reporting to senior management on issues and risks.

• Take overall responsibility for the portfolio of programs delivering IT/OT investment for Cairo Line 3.

• Manage IT strategic sourcing and procurement, support OT strategic sourcing and procurement.

• Work with NAT client, technology partners and the wider RATP Group to ensure integration and leverage of IT/OT investment.

• Lead on the co-ordination of IT related activity across all departments, actively prioritizing competing programs and projects and allocating available resources effectively/to drive greatest return on investment.

• Inspire creativity and flexibility in the management and application of IT.

• Take responsibility for the development and implementation of Cairo Line 3 information security in accordance with the information management strategy, ensuring all statutory requirements are met.

• Take responsibility for development, delivery and/or monitoring (as appropriate) for the IT service delivery by IT service providers, including Cairo Line 3 in-house IT services, and the contracts with key suppliers.

• Monitor and manage the performance of IT-related systems and services, in respect of their contribution to business performance and the meeting of client KPIs.

• Provide regular assessments of delivery against strategic objectives and budget.

• Establish strong working relationships with IT service providers, working jointly to improve cost-effectiveness, to assure value for money, delivery performance, customer satisfaction and innovation.

• Demonstrate the contribution that technology can make to business objectives, defining strategy, validating business needs, taking into account the opportunities afforded by technology developments coupled with the implications of change on Cairo Line 3 services and all stakeholders.

• Build positive relationships with the key stakeholders in the business, ensuring that the IT/OT strategy and service develops to meet business needs Develop a continuous service improvement culture within IT to ensure that it supports the business needs.

• Other duties and responsibilities might be assigned.

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science / IT.

KNOWLEDGE:

• Understanding of IT infrastructure including but not limited to Platforms, Storage, Application servers, Web servers, SQL Server, Network Routing, Switching, Security applications.

• Familiarization with software/Applications including but not limited to ERP, HRMS, MS Dynamics, SharePoint, O365, Maximo, Time and Attendance solutions.

• Demonstrable knowledge of IT and software system assurance including Cyber Security and Disaster recovery.

• Managing complex projects involving client, Vendors and Stakeholders.

• Capability to understand and deliver:

1. User requirements of both Internal & External stakeholders.

2. IT Systems Interfacing/Integration.

3. OT and Critical Systems.

EXPERIENCE:

• Should possess minimum 10-15 years of experience in IT management.

• Experience in project management (certification is a plus).

• Experience as a business analyst or clear demonstration of ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.

• Experience in delivery of Change Management.

• Exposure to public transport desirable.

Profile

The IT/OT Manager will have overall accountability of all IT services including infrastructure, business solutions and cyber security as necessary for the efficient operation and maintenance of Cairo Line 3 daily activities and services.

He/she will provide technical guidance to the OT teams to ensure that transverse technologies are aligned with industry and group standards.
